Run to botanical garden

Decided to go for a 10k run today...to the botanical garden where I'll join the Unity ppl for their nature walk :)

Want to try out my new HRM :D

I have used it yesterday when I went to swim...but my heart rate doesn't seem to go very fast...max is abt 150 *roll eyes*...must have been quite slack?

Anyway, I started off from my place at abt 3.15pm...from St Michael's Rd, I turned into Serangoon Rd...then Selegie Rd, Prinsep Rd, Orchard Rd, Tanglin Rd, Napier Rd and I have arrived at the Minden Gates of the botanical gardens...but I was still early...decided to run towards the Visitor Center via Dell Lane, Palm Valley Rd and U turn back to the Minden Gates where the nature walk will start *phew*... maintained my heart rate at abt 160-175...my max HR seems to be 193 based on the Fitness Test using the HRM...resting HR when I sleep is 60...quite high hor?

Blue line = running route
Red ine = nature walk route...somehow were wre led by customers today :P

Amazingly I din have to stop much at the traffic lights on the way to the botanical gardens...most of the pedestrian traffic lights were green when I was running past...got quite a few stares from passerbys though :P

After the walk, I walked to Tanglin Mall to visit my classmate at the pharmacy...ended up having lunch there with a few friends :)
After dinner, I continued walking towards Orchard...visited Borders, Hello Singtel, BK at Orchard Emerald (bought dinner for housemate), then since I just missed the bus, decided to walk on to Plaza Sing...visited the Asics shop...they r having clearance sales...30-40% off most of their shoes and apparels...20% of Saucony shoes..din buy anything though...dun need any ;)

Then it's time to go home...to watch cable tv...just got cable tv today!!! some special promotion $14.70/month for 3 basic groups and 1 digital group :D

"Run together session" last Sunday

Wah...I forgot to put a post on this!!! too shack after the run lah...I slept and slept until almost lunch time on Monday...then left for the National Day Road Relay dry run liao...

Anyway, it was a great "run together session"!!!
Woke up early on Sun...as usual...always wake up early for this kind of things...but TLR was up earlier than me...he left me a msg on my MSN at 5.45am...siao ah..wake up so early??!! Apparently Fd woke him up that early...
Had a bun and a cup of tea...I can't skip breakfast like Muggs...sure die halfway one...then off I go to Sentosa...

First person I met at the Visitor Arrival Center was Muggs...then we proceed to the carpark to look for TLR's silver honda jazz...
I saw a familiar face...which I later realize is kops21...met him at the WHR recently...but din noticed him in the Milk run...
Then we saw THE silver honda jazz came in with TLR and Fd in it...suddenly everyone started approaching from all direction...taz, Brokenrunner (who's not broken by the way...at least by our standard), DO (who had already ran one round of the 10km route!!!), renohtaram...can't rem who else...oops...

We chat a bit and Fd was trigger happy...taking photos away...

Photo before the run...

At 8am we started running (except Fd who was ready to jaga our bags with Penguin to accompany her :D)...initially, we were in a group...but slowly everyone broke away...I was somewhere in the middle then...but as we progressed towards the beach...more and more ppl kept overtaking me ;) I remembered kops21 approached me from behind and overtook me at Tanjong Beach...(kops21: dun keep saying u were behind me lah...u were in front of me once we reached tanjong beach :P)

In the end I'm quite sure I was the last to arrive at the end point!!! Had plenty of 100+...took another photo...then we washed up and off we go to McDonald's for breakfast :D

Photo taken after the run...hmm...got more ppl...

At McDonald's we chat somemore and took more photos ;)

It was great to have met all u guys...hope to see u guys again soon...maybe next time Fd will be running with us??!!

Oh ya...my previous map of the Real Run is not accurate...the Siloso Beach part is running on road instead of sand :P

Enrolment

Woke up early today...this time not for some running event...but for the enrolment exercise at NUS for my graduate studies...
It was still drizzling when I wanted to leave...sianz...

Anyway, the enrolment exercise was at LT28...spent more than an hour there...just waiting and waiting!!!
Now I have my new matric card :)

After enrolment I went to Dept of Chem to find out wat I have to do next...they gave me some papers which includes my orientation schedule next Wed to Fri...whoa...it's full of talks...plenty on safety...chemicals are dangerous...hehe...dun play play with me hor...I got access to dangerous chemicals soon :P

Then I went to Dept of Pharm to look for my supervisor, Prof Go...hmm...I haven't been doing any reading or research on the project she has suggested for me...school haven't start mah...
She got the lab tech to get me my very own table and locker...woohoo...for the first time I have my own desk in school!!! Never had one at work b4 also...
Hehe...but she wants me to read up more on my project...febrifugine, a drug which has antimalarial properties...instead of the Patricia Cornwell, Tom Clancy or Harry Potter I have been reading...hehe

Well, now that I have my password to access the NUS digital library...dun really have any excuse to not look up for more journals...sighz...but school haven't started yet!!! Oh well...that's wat u get for getting such an "siao on" supervisor...

Wanted to go swim afer that...but it was still drizzling...super sianz!!!
Had lunch with some of ppl at the med chem lab...then I left for Outram...go renew my blood at the blood bank!!! Then I went to visit some ppl at the satellite pharmacy 73 and the DPIC (drug and poisons information center...call them at 64239119 if u have any drug or poisoning problems...hehe...they are open to public 24 hours...I'm serious!)

Came home after that...it was almost 5pm liao...thinking of gg to the Mizuno Warehouse sales at Ruby Industrial Complex at Tannery Road...near my place ;) but it's until 5pm only...shall go tomorrow then...heard there are some pretty good deals there :D

Aiya...forgot to hand in the GIRO form to the Finance Office...gotta go NUS again...maybe on Thur...

National day road relay dry run

Went for the national day road relay dry run today :)

We are doing the Yishun-Padang route...took a bus from NUS SRC to Yishun stadium...wah...spent so much time waiting...

Below is our route...I started at change over point 3 at Ang Mo Kio...and ran till change over point 5 at Toa Payoh...TLR did longer route...started from Yishun stadium till change over point 6 at Novena :)

Yishun-Padang route

Wanted to run more but too many ppl were running...
We were causing enough traffic jam already...really lousy timing for the dry run...started at 3 plus till almost 6pm
It rained quite a bit too...

But I dun just eat, sleep, watch tv and surf net...I cycled to SGH to pick up PENGUIN!!!

Rainy day...

It rained again on my way to work!!! Really bad omen...

Anyway, it rained the whole day...intermittently...

Decided to cycle to Sentosa to check out the Real Run route this morning...see the distance accurate or not...hehe...
On the way there, I dropped by Lavender MRT to buy a bus ticket back to Penang this Sun ;) Yep...I'm gg home!!! Just for 4 days though...anyone need anything from Penang...I dun pack Laksa, Char Koay Teow etc...it'll turn bad by the time it gets to u :p

Then it's a straight road down towards Sentosa...Victoria St, Hill St, New Bridge Rd, Kg Bahru Rd...then turn into Telok Belangah Rd and I've arrived at Sentosa...

It started to drizzle when arrived at the Visitor Arrival Center...anyway, dun care...just cycle...following the map I drew the other day ;)
Wah...the part that I skipped on Wed is a super slopy route!!! Uphill, downhill, uphill, downhill, uphill, downhill, uphill, downhill...I think u get the idea...hehe...btw, that's the cycle route for NUS triathlon...times 8 laps!!! Hehe...think I'll join The Lonely Runner's team as a swimmer :p

When I reached Tanjong Beach...decided to detour to the "changing room?" to dump my bag in the locker...I'm water-proof but my bag is not...and the rain was getting heavier...then I cycled till the end of Tanjong Beach, then came back along the cycle path...NOT the sand...hehe :p

Then it's along the same route as Wed...except this time on my bike and under the rain!!! I was totally drench by then...
Also this time I managed to figure out the way at the musical fountain...thanx to the tip from Jayce yesterday :D
It was a bit messy there because of the construction work gg on...
Yup...it's 10km :D

Took a break at the ferry terminal...had lunch at BK in my drenched clothes and shades...my specs are in the bag in the locker so can't change to them...ppl were staring at me :p
They must think I'm crazy...

After lunch, I cycled back to Tanjong Beach via the Waterfront Trail...I was shivering man...the rain has stopped but it was pretty windy...thank god there's some sun along that trail...yes...the sun appeared immediately after the rain stopped!!! Amazing weather of S'pore...gives me plenty of business at the pharmacy ;)

Changed into dry clothes after I got my bag...hang ard a bit...watching some monkey show...hehe...then it's time to leave the island ;)

Got home, slack a bit, surf net, prepare dinner, ate, took a shower...then off I go to work...in the rain!!! Work in HLC = rain on the way to work :(
Oh well...at least I'm not so busy at work ;)

Thursday, July 14, 2005

Bad omen?

Wah...today is my second day at HLC and it's the second time it rained half way while I was walking to the MRT!!!

Luckily today I decided to take the bus, to the MRT station 2 stops away, when it started to drizzle...learnt my lesson ;)

Morning run at Sentosa

I'm crazy!!!

Woke up at 6 plus to go run at Sentosa before work with my friend, Jayce, who works in the Dolphin Lagoon...wanted to try out the Real Run route since I'm working at Harbourfront...hehe...

Arrived at Harbourfront interchange at 7am...was in the same train as Jayce...but we were both sleeping...so din notice each other :p
We were in time for the first visitors' bus to Sentosa!! hehe...Got to the visitor arrival center...changed to the yellow bus to get to Dolphin Lagoon where we put our belongings...

The red line is the route I took this morning
The yellow line is the Real Run route...I think ;)
Click on the image for a larger picture

Started running at ard 7.40am from the dolphin lagoon...decided to run on the road instead of the beach...Jayce is gg for the Pattaya Marathon this weekend...and she just signed up last weekend...talk abt impulsive decision...she din even had plane tickets confirmed when she signed up...so exciting!!!
Anyway, we ran along the beach til Siloso...where we turned right and entered the trail...the trail is not exactly a trail...it's tarred road :) Not too sure whether the trail marked on the map is correct or not...but I can be sure I was running on the correct trail this morning as there are distance marker for the Real Run along the trail every 500m!!!

We were a bit lost when we reached the musical fountain...think we ended up running more towards the Visitor Arrival Center...the red marking on the map is the route we took...and the yellow one is wat I BELIEVE to be the actual route...

From there, we ran back to the Dolphin Lagoon along the road...skipped the part at the golf course...we reached the Dolphin Lagoon at abt 8.15am...not very fast...it's early in the morning!! and we had stopped a bit at the musical fountain trying to figure out the way ;)

Jayce stopped at the Dolphin Lagoon...while I continued towards Tanjong Beach...she starts work at 8.30am...while I only start at 10.30am...
I ran till the end of Tanjong Beach...then back running on the beach...the initial part was ok as the sand was more firm...but as I moved on the sand was more loose...wah...no fun to run on the sand man!!! Took almost 15 mins to complete that leg which is just slightly over 2km!!! and I think only a quarter to a third is on the sand!!!
Imagine how the sand is gg to be like after hundreds of ppl have run over it??!! Better be the first few to run on the sand man!!

After that I cool down, took a shower, then took a bus out to Harbourfront...dropped off my bag at the pharmacy first...it's only 9.15am then...doubt I need more than an hour for bfast?? Anyway, I had bfast at McDonald's and even surf net a while there...then went into Cold Storage...hmm...nothing to buy...the rest of the shops are still closed...so at 10am, I decided to go back to the pharmacy liao...managed to serve a couple of customers before 10.30am!! Do I get paid for that..hehe :p

Tonight I'll be meeting Jayce again for dinner...if she can't make it, then I'll go down to Queenstown for underwater hockey...but I have to get my fins, snorkel and mask from her first ;)

Penguin with tigger of different sizes

Do u have a tigger of another size to take photo with penguin?
S size is taken in Belgium when penguin went to visit Xuanhao!!! Yes...penguin went to Europe without me!!! He went with Seok Khoon and Wendy Tan!!! ...and he's not back yet...I miss Penguin!!!

Export sales day

Worked at Unity HBF (Harbourfront) today..quite a nice place ;D

The pharmacist here left me a nice little note to let me know wat to do and how to contact him ;)

First thing I did was top-up the telepharmacy items...nothing much to top-up actually...guess it's the telepharmacy just started this month and a lot of ppl are not aware of this service yet...or maybe the competitior's shop has a pharmacist ard til 10pm so they rather go there??

Next I helped key in the Form E...nothing much...just a few items arrived today...and one of them was sold off within a few hours...gotta order again...sighz...how come I'm doing all this things? thought I'm just a locum...do nothing one *lol*

After that it's mostly serving the customers...but one thing diff abt this place is there're a lot of export sales because of all the ships leaving from here...haven't done any export sales in the past one plus month I worked...even when I was at RFC...but today I had 3!!! Not a lot of export sales for HBF but it's a lot for me!!! 0 to 3 is an infinte jump :p
Then, quite a number of items were sold out and I had to order from the supplier again...so many things I usually dun do at other shops...overwhelming me :0

Then another customer came by with a prescription for a drug that none of the other outlets seem to keep...why? why?!!! In the end, have to order from supplier...luckily JRP is willing to take the balance that I have ordered...the pharmacist here also dun wanna keep that drug :p

Hmm...looks like I'm getting busier at the pharmacy lately...last nite at HLC (Hougang Mall), I was rather busy too...by locum standard...in other words...slackers' standard :p
Wat happened to all the peaceful outlets...why dun I get those anymore?!!! Oh well...

Tomorrow I'm gg to Sentosa to try out part of the Real Run route with Jayce before work...so excited!!! After work, maybe dinner with Jayce if she can make it...if not, I'll be off to Queenstown swimming complex for underwater hockey...heard a team of Filipinos will be there this week!!! :D

President's Challenge Health Relay

This is the earliest I have woken up for a run....1.30am!!! Had a light breakfast and went to the bus stop to wait for a colleague to pick me up...then we drove to Changi General Hospital...end pt of our run...decided to gather there so that all those who drove can leave from there after the run ;)

Since there were abt 8 of us there...we had to be ferried to Kembangan MRT (starting pt) in 2 trips...I waited at CGH first...and guess wat...we had a preview of the NDP mobile column of tanks while waiting...so cool!!! Anyone who's boliao and wants a preview can go down to CGH at abt 2.30am next Sun morning...they'll be rehearsing every week til NDP...haha :p

At Kembangan MRT, we did a bit of warm up stretching...then we waited for the previous team, team SCDF, to arrive...oh ya..my team is the Pharmaceutical Society of S'pore :D
At abt 10-15 mins before their ETA of 3.45am, we heard cheers and saw lights approaching us...the SCDF team were cheering their way towards us with the escort of traffic police and cyclist from the S'pore Women's Cycling Team (SWCT)...wah...need to cheer one ah? PSS dun have cheer one lah...oh well...never mind...

The baton was handed over to our team...and at abt 3.45am we started our run...we were supposed to run at an average speed of 7.5km/hr...*yawnz*...I walk at 6km/hr!!!
Anyway, think we ran faster than that lah...if not the cyclist following us will be having a real hard time cycling so slowly...
We ran along Sims Ave to New Upper Changi Rd until Bedok Rd where we turned left...then right to Upper Changi Rd and left to Simei Ave...and hurray...we have arrived at CGH...abt 15 mins ahead of schedule...I think...
We did a simple "3 cheers" when we were approaching the CGH team...just to make some noise...hehe

Had some snacks and drinks provided...got the goodie bag and off we went...
Got home at abt 5am...surfed the net, rested a while...then out I go again...this time cycling...to Raffles Hospital where the last leg of the Health Relay is supposed to start...
Got there early...so chatted with the SWCT cyclists...there were guys too...to help support the team...hehe...the SWCT was just established recently with the mission of improving the health and well-being of women and girls through physical fitness. Specifically, they encourage women and girls to ride bicycles, improve their cycling, challenge themselves, take risks and become involved with the cycling community ;)
So ladies...if u interested in cycling...do check out their website or u can contact Noor ;)

At abt 7.15am, we started running/cycling towards HSA...via Victoria St, Hill St, New Bridge Rd, Outram Rd...had a super long wait there...by then, the SWCT cyclists were super sleepy...they have been up cycling since the start of the relay at midnight!!!

At 8.30am, we saw the President's car drove pass...so we got ready for the final 400m towards National Dental Center...next door...hehe...the flag bearers of each team led the pack...with the cyclists following behind...

At NDC, the President received us...then there was a cool down session, followed by some performance and the President gave out a momento to each team...I joined the SWCT cyclist for a photo with the President ;D

I was planning to either cycle down to West Coast Park to meet up with some of the sgrunners or to Sentosa for the reef walk training...but by the time everything was over it was 9 plus...the race at West Coast Park and the reef walk training would have been over :( So I decided to cycle back home instead...

Got home...had a shower...and I was dead...zzzzzz....slept for 4 hours!!
Woke up super hungry...had a big bowl of yummy fruity salad ;)

Howard and Cupid came by with a rented VCD...A Series of Unfortunate Events...
After the movie, we had dinner at Kembangan!!! My second time there today...and I have never been there b4 this...except for my recee cycle yesterday ;)

Back to work...

I haven't work for 10 days...
No assignment for me...guess not many pharmacist taking leave with all the training gg on...
Maybe I would have been working last sat if I din participate in the OSIM triathlon since a lot of pharmacists attending the PSS Congress...oh well...

So I have been cycling ard a lot and watching movie or sleeping at home...*oink* Doubt I'll have the luxury of time when I go back to NUS next month...shall treasure all this free time now ;)

Today it's back to work...at PUNGGOL...luckily I stay along the North East Line...but this morning I went to attend the pharmacist training at Great World first...I dun really have to attend it...but I'm boliao!!! It was quite interesting though...but that guy talked too much...I only managed to attend 1/3 of his presentation before I left for work ;p

Now I'm back home...having my yummy salad...containing potato, egg, green apple, orange, grapes, tomatoes, tuna, cashew nuts and bacon bits...with thousand island!!! It's now 4 plus and it's my lunch!!!

Wonder if I shld go play underwater hockey later...it looks like it's gonna rain!!! Sianz...

OSIM triathlon photos...

Photos are out at the sportsphotoX website

No matter wat I'm doing...I'll smile when the camera is nearby...haha...
I'm a poser!!!

Thought of the day...

U realized how unappreciated u're by ur ex-boss when...

U go back to help out for FREE during their super busy period...he saw u and said, "Wah, u're underdressed huh?"...just one lousy comment...

"Wat the @#$%!!!" No doubt I'm underdressed in shorts and singlet...but I'm just here to help out, dude...nobody sees me other than ur staff :p

OSIM triathlon results out...

Wow...that's fast!!!

Check out the results here

Not too bad for my first triathlon...32nd placing out of 85...not too happy with my cycling timing though...must be because I'm not using a road bike...hehe...excuses!!!
The run was quite slow too...but still not too bad compared to the rest ;)

Here's my timing (with the range and median for the women's sprint)...
Swim 17:52 (12:54 - 39:56; 22:14)
Cycle 53:44 (38:21 - 1:16:52; 52:03)
Run 32:51 (24:21 - 52:23; 33:38)
Overall 1:44:26 (1:18:57 - 2:29:34; 1:50:16)

OSIM triathlon day 2...and Milk Run

I volunteered as a swim marshall on the second day of the triathlon...woke up at 3.30am so that I can reach ECP at 5am...ended up arriving too early ;p

Wonder why we had to arrive so early...in the end we just hang ard until 6.30am before we went down to the beach...most of the other volunteers of the swim leg were canoeist...so they had to get ready to go into the sea while I helped out at the beach ;) I'm a beach bum...hehe

The first wave started off at 7.15am...that's for the age group olympic distance category...whoa the swim route was a mess...esp when the participants started heading back towards the shore...everyone was in the middle of the swim route regardlesss of whether they are heading out or in...all thanx to the sea current ;p
Anyway, my job was mainly crowd control and directing the participants during their swim leg..

After all the age group category participants have finished their swim, we had a short de-brief to discuss wat could have been done to prevent the mess...a learning experience for the next triathlon ;) this problem is not gg to happen with the elite participants that will be gg down next ;p

Since the elite race will only start at 11am, we took a break after the debrief...decided to walk abt and watch the race while I had the yummy curry puff and other snacks provided for tea break ;) Jon and Mei2 appeared during the break...wah...so free...travel all the way to ECP early in the morning!!!

At 10.30am we started preparing for the elite race...wow...the elite racers swam ard 200m out into the sea for their warm up...they look so cool in their triathlete's suit with their country and names (for some) printed on...I have seen some of the athletes on tv before!!! so cool to be able to see them in person now...hehe ;)
As expected they were swimming so "neatly" along the swim route...and they are fast!!! Most of them were in within 30mins...

After all the elite participants finished their swim, we started packing up...then we washed up, had lunch, got our allowance...and off we go...hehe...the bike and run marshalls are still out there ;p

I decided to cycle towards Zouk to meet my frens who were participating in the Milk Run...there was a big crowd at the Marina Promenade because of the Dragonboat Race...wah...the Milk Run participants are gg to have a hard time getting through...
I stopped at Boat Quat to wait for my frens to pass by...first I saw this runner that was lead by a blader and a cyclist who were helping the lead runner clear the path...
The first person I knew that ran past was Sukaimi aka The Lonely Runner...then after that I saw Evan...then Elaine...where's Jayce?!! Oh she was next to Elaine...somehow I din notice her until she ran past...
If u have been reading my blog and wondering...yup...it's the same Evan, Elaine and Jayce who have participated in the OSIM triathlon the day b4!!!

After that I crossed the river and decided to wait for them to come back...that's when it suddenly started to rain!!! Took shelter at one of the building along the Milk Run route...

Less than 30 mins after the start of the race, I saw the lead runner running pass again...whoa...he's damn fast...one of the marshalls told me he's so fast that the blader who was helping to clear the path was damn shack already!!!

Since the rain has gotten less heavy by then, I went up to one of the bridge to wait for the other runners to run pass the underpass...managed to take photos of TLR, Evan, Elaine and Jayce...hehe...think only Evan noticed me ;p

After the 4 of them run past, I started cycling back on the opposite river bank...which was a big mistake!! Din know the community run ppl have just started their run...I had to go against all of them until finally I managed to cross the bridge...I was so slow that by the time I was reaching the end point Jayce and Elaine were almost there liao too!!! Thought I could go to the finishing line to take a photo of them...unfortunately I was too slow ;p

After the race, Evan, Elaine, Jayce and I went for dinner at Lau Pa Sat...then it was time to head home...phew...wat a day!!!

OSIM triathlon

Wow!! It was great...

Took a cab to ECP this morning...the uncle asked me how come never cycle to ECP??!! Shack leh...after that still need to swim 750m..then cycle 20km..then run 5km...cycle there???!!! He din know I'm gg for the triathlon lah...hehe

Got to ECP at abt 845am...put on my security wrist tag and marked by arms and legs...then immediately checked my bike into the transition area...after that I went to walk ard checking out the tentages...nothing much to see...so I decided to walk back to the transition area to meet my friend...took quite long to get back as I had to pass the area where the swimmers run towards the transition area to get their bikes...the participants from the mini event just finished their swim...hehe...mini event...no "kick" lah...

Found my friend (Jayce) and her relay team mates (Evan and Elaine) outside the transition area...marking their arms and legs, putting on the race bibs etc...once they were done, we went into the transition area where I laid out some of my stuff like shoes, socks, goggles, swim cap, towel...the rest were still on me...3S (singlet, shorts and shades) and a cap...then we went to recee the transition area...we have to run in (after swimming) and out (after cycling) of the transition ara through a mini overhead bridge...wah...need to go up hill and down hill after each leg...shack...

After that, we decided to get ready and go to the holding area for the swim...we managed to see the elite junior participants start off their race...wow...they are fast!!! maybe a bit too fast...saw a couple of jap participants with bandages all over their arms, legs and face after the race...must have fell off their bikes while sprinting!!!

I'm the 4th wave out of 5 for the sprint event...for the non-elite ppl...hehe...each wave was only abt 3 mins apart...I managed to overtake many participants from the 2nd and 3rd wave...and a few from the 1st wave...yay...but some guys from the last wave (relay participants) were very fast...they overtook me during the first half of the swim!!! The wave was quite strong at the sea today...kept drinking sea water when I was trying to breath...eewk!!!

After the swim, I jogged towards the transition area with my jellied leg...managed to pose for a photo somemore...hehe...I'm a poser...I'm gg to have a lot of photos with the "peace" sign ;) Oh ya, I saw Jon...he was at the swim start when I started...but now he's at the swim end...

When I got to my bike, I had a quick drink, dried myself a bit...then I started putting on all my barang-barang...singlet, shorts, socks, shoes, cap, shades and finally my helmet...haha...so many things...no wonder my transition time is always among the longest...

Then I pushed the bike towards the mount line...and started my 20km cycling...twice around the 10km route...a lot of ppl, esp those on road bikes, overtook me here...Evan overtook me when I was at my second round...

After the bike leg, my legs were totally nua liao...put my bike back at the racks at the transition area...nearly forgot to remove my helmet...luckily got a reminder from the marshall...hehe...then off I go...up and down the mini overhead bridge...towards my final 5km run...I was jogging really slowly as my leg was really really very nua liao...had plenty of isotonic drink along the way...also had a nice cool spray of water near the half way mark and again on the way back ;) Saw Jayce on her way running back when I was approaching the half way mark...no strength to chase after her liao...dun care...just run and pose for photos can liao...hehe ;)

Finally after almost 2 hrs I arrived at the finishing line...yay!!!
