Chelonia - Day 10 (7 Oct) Goodbye Jacq and Wilson, Shelves building part IV

Can wake up late today since we won’t have material to start work anyway….but I still wake up pretty early ‘cos I saw Reef coming out with Merey….there were a lot of monkeys jumping from tree to tree very near us….

After everyone woke up we went to this nearby shop for brunch…had fried rice etc...buffet style...waited soooo long for the fried rice!!
After brunch, we visited the turtle hatchery near our place...give jacq and wilson a chance to see baby turtles b4 they leave...

After the visit, we decided to take one last grp photo at the hatchery...but guess wat...there was no one ard...richard and the other guy from the hatchery...dunno his name...has left...how how? Get Reef to take...I taught him how to press the button this morning liao...haha...













It was damn funny...we were all counting to 3 for him...but he din take...so we decided to set timer and let him aim the camera at us...but...
Just when the timer is up...he changed the direction of the camera...haha...we just kept laughing and laughing...in the end..Ryal took the photo for...so it's not really a full grp photo again...
Anyway, Reef is only 2 years old...he can handle the camera quite well...give him a bit more time...i'm sure he'll be able to take photo for us soon ;)

After that it's goodbye Jacq and Wilson...then the rest of us headed down to the temple to continue with our shelves building...hope to finish everything by today...merey, sweeyin and san san went down to the library instead to do some final touch up and put up some decoration for tom's reopening...

At the temple...we realized that we had to get some plywood sawed into 2 b4 we can continue...decided to send it to the local carpenter to get that done...zul went with a tuk-tuk while the rest of us finished assemblying the one lone shelves we have material for...then we nua awhile...but was too bored so we started arranging the timbers so that we can start hammering once the ply wood are back...and then we waited again...

We waited and waited...until buay tahan liao...then the tuk-tuk guy came looking for zul...huh...where's zul??
Hang chong and Ryal decided to walk down to the carpenters shop to check on the status...

Not long after they left...Zul came back fresh from a hair-cut..wah lau...apparently the carpenter was gg for a break...so ask him to come back later...then that carpenter..delay and delay...so irritating!!!

By the time we started working again...it was past 4pm...think we got there at abt 2plus!!! Sit there and entertain flies only...wahlau..

Amazingly we managed to finish all the...ehh..I think...14 shelves...in 2 hrs...of course with the help of some villagers...but we were very focused!!

Dinner that night supposed to be Pizza Hut...got the no. to call from a box found by the road...but...alas...that box was either from Galle or Colombo...so Merey, Sweeyin and Sansan cooked dinner...

After dinner…we slept pretty early…must be because Wilson not ard…hehe…no one jio us to play dai di…so we all zzzzzz
